Attentuators are simply a couple of resistors which shunt off to ground
some of the current passing through them - in other words, they make the
music less loud by some fixed amount.  In your case, adding them would
simply mean you won't be able to turn up your music enough (based on
what you say above), so you don't need or want them.

The discussion above was for people with systems where max SB volume
would be earsplitting and might damage the speakers.
