I also use my computer to control my modified SB2 from the couch. The Transporter really needs a graphical remote (perhaps as an option?) that eliminates the computer. I recently visited an audiophile with a mac mini running through the $3500 Wavelength USB DAC. He controlled the whole thing from his couch with a Palm Wi-Fi. Very cool - even showed the album art imported with Clutter.
The reason CD's wiped out LP's was convenience. Now is the time to do the same to CD's with the graphical remote. BTW: I still mostly listen to LP's. -- ptruce P Truce ----------- RWA SB2 - Paradisea DAC (1953 WE396A) - Eastern Electric Mini Pre - Marsh A400 amp - B&W N802 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ptruce's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1329 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=25800 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
