Hi, Your solution looks to be as good as anything else I have seen although I wonder how it will run the plug-ins such as Alien BBC. I'm also interested in the noise performance (particularly on the 30+ degree heatwave we're having at the moment.
The only problem is the price. For the price of the Qnap TS-401T I could buy a Buffalo Terastation PLUS a cheap PC to run Slimserver and STILL have change for a load of CDs to burn onto it!
