I am currently about to setup a very similar situation. I have a
boombox in my bathroom right now and enjoy listening to music while in
the shower. It's been in there for the last 10 years, and still works
fine. I guess it doesnt have paper cones for the speakers. Anywhoo,
i've never had a problem with electric shocks either, Its plugged into
the wall, with one of those circuit breaker type outlets just incase.

I want to have now have the SB in the bathroom also, and i'm hoping it
will stand up to the same amount of moisture. Hopefully it doesn't fog
up behind the glass or something. I guess i could make a plexiglass
case and mount that to the wall. I'm planning on using some of those
Edirol MD15D's speakers with it. Do they have paper cones? I imagine
so. I wonder how long they will last before they die. I am willing to
find out :)

Ill keep you posted of what happens.
