Hello, I'm new to this forum and this is my 1st post so forgive me if this has been discussed before. I recently set up a ReadyNAS/SB3 wireless network and uploaded my library (AAC, Apple Lossless, AIFF). I'm hearing a "tick" everytime a track begins EXCEPT with AIFF-formatted tracks. This occurs with both SB3's in separate systems using the server.
I re-ripped and tested a couple of CDs in several formats and got the same results. I also switched the stock power supply to different outlets - one with rest of the system plugged into it and the other without - the "tick" was still there. Could this have something to do with iTunes or that it was set up for an iPod originally? I'm hoping someone has also experienced this and has a suggestion or two.
