Do you mean a resonance causes some machanical part to "ring" (as in
vibrate) at a given sound pressure level, or som electromagnetical
signal makes the door bell ring?
To be honest I initially read your posting as one of those numerous
jokes that tries to take the mickey out of audiophiles..

Nice speakers, BTW. I used to have the Aeiruses!
