A wireless (or wired) SB should be *sending* very little information over the network - a few TCP/'IP handshakes or something, maybe the occasional packet resend request, but very little compared to what it receives. Someone with more knowledge of computer networks could probably tell us more precisely how much, but it's clear it can't be much.
So a wireless SB is primarily a radio receiver, not a radio transmitter - and in that case it makes no difference if it's wired or not, unless you think your sound is adversely affected by ambient wireless networks, such as your neighbors', not to mention cell phones, cordless phones, radio stations, etc. (And if so, buy properly shielded interconnects - they're quite cheap.) -- opaqueice ------------------------------------------------------------------------ opaqueice's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4234 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26949 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
