They are significantly different -- and those were nice speakers. You get detail, detail, detail and detail, and no false warmth. You get "spooky" detail and imaging almost unlike any other speaker -- except for very large line arrays and some electrostatics. The Harbeths have it all over ESLs when it comes to body. -- highdudgeon SB3->Nuforce 9.02->Harbeth Monitor 30s/Skylan stands and Quad ESL-988s.
