Cheers, not what I wanted to hear but there you go. It seems bizarre for the record industry to put such protection on. Illegal music sharing is all MP3s - people aren't going to want to share 5GB files for a single album when 99.9999% do not have a system that will resolve the difference between that and a 500MB CD (or even a 50MB MP3). Yes I have the bandwidth for it, but frankly I prefer to buy the hardware for when the HD fails!
It is annoying that legitimate users are not allowed reasonable use of their purchased product.
