My SB3 is currently running into an Arcam Alpha 10 integrated amp then into an Alpha 10 power amp and from there to a set of Madisound Cygnet speakers.
Right now, I'm using the analog outs on the SB3 into the Arcam, assuming that since the SB3 is so much newer than my Alpha, that the DAC in the SB was better than the DAC in the Alpha. It now occurs to me that that might be faulty logic, considering the cost difference between the two devices. What do you think? Which is the higher quality DAC?
