I think the general rule of thumb that most audiophiles make is that the input impedance of an amplifier should be at least 100x the output impedance of the preamp/source that preceeds it. For many amps, 1kohm output impedance of the Transporter should be fine, but there are many amps out there that have input impedances in the 20k-90kohm range (eg. the Pass Labs X.5 series amps and Bel Canto eOne amps have a 22kohm input impedance, Cary amps are around 90kohms, etc).
