Sleestack, I dont think you will be disappointed. I want to let it break in a little more before I comment further, but so far so good. Unless it takes a turn for the worse after break in (which is unlikely), I think this is another landmark product from SD.
ModelCitizen, I shared your feelings when I looked at the photos. But the black one I am using now, from a distance (12 ft or so), the buttons are really not intrusive. What I thought was surprising is that if you really use the front panel to choose music etc (instead of remote) the buttons are actually extremely functional. No menu and no multi-function buttons/navigation. direct buttons... very very functional. Going from a button-less SB3 may takes a little getting used to, but I have a feeling it will be easier to live with then you may think. -- WSLam WSLam 'Transporter' (http://www.slimdevices.com/) + 'SB3' (http://www.slimdevices.com/) | 'Unidisk 1.1' (http://www.knekt.com/spec_sound/product_display.cfm?ProductID=179&activeNavBar=products&activeSubNavBar=Source) -> 'EMM Labs DCC2 SE' (www.emmlabs.com/html/audio/dcc2/dcc2.html) -> 'Acoustic Reality eAR1001' (http://www.acoustic-reality.com) > 'Magico Mini' (http://www.magico.net) 'Photos of my Setup' (http://photos.lam.ws/gallery/1573984/1/87768997) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ WSLam's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=830 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27857 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
