I'm with you. I manage my CD data using CATraxx (a great ~$45 shareware title). I had written a small utility to populate the SlimDB with the CATraxx data, only to find that Slim was overwriting my data everytime I played a song. I tried to convince -someone- that Slim shouldn't futz with data it found, but everyone said I was crazy. Tags are the -only- logical place for data.
