I am interested in using the SB hard-wired directly to my PC with ethernet cable, and using the SB digital outputs to my external DAC. It seems this could perhaps couple the SB to the PC's electrically noisy power supply, and/or could possibly allow a ground loop.
So I'm wondering please, does the SB use a pulse-transformer or any other type of electrical isolation on its hard-wired ethernet input?
