anyone did a comparision between the Transporter and a modded SB3 (either Bolder or Red Wine) with linear power supply to a Benchmark DAC ? I am sure there is a difference, but is it significant ? you know, the OMG, did Santa replaced my hifi set with a $500,000 system? ... or maybe it is in the same ballpark (you know the one where the wife comes in and say "Honey, that new thingy Transporter sure looks a lot better than the ol' SB" BUT made no mention of the sound quality?
