I suppose I am in the 'easy listening' category; I do on occasion sit down specifically to listen to music, but generally music provides an agreeable athmosphere for working. I play a very wide range of music, from classic and celtic to 80's pop and rather heavy rock; but all of it is FLAC-encoded and streamed via SlimServer. Also, I'll be using the stereo as a (non-surround-sound) amp to bring dvd sound to larger-than-tv speakers.
Thank you for pointing out the F102, it seems a very good match for my needs. I will definitely consider it! As for not getting speakers, I was planning to do just that: using a pair of venerable Bose 8-ohm speakers (I don't quite know the model, perhaps "P1", but they are from around 1980). -- KlaymenDK - 010\001\111 - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ KlaymenDK's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4538 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28521 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
