It would be nice to have a SB or transporter with a color display showing the album art. That has the drawback that it would make the SB bigger, bulkier, and generally less sleek. So why not design the remote so that it can physically attach to the SB4? That way, with it attached you have effectively a SB with a color display and buttons, but you can detach it and use it as a remote as well (and making it universal is a great idea!).
