That's a very good point. You don't really want to be wading through endless options when you're lying on the couch after a few glasses of wine, and indeed this will put people off. Make something easy to use and people will *want* to use it. >From what I've seen of the 770 skin it definitely focusses more on the music side of things - so maybe it's as easy as writing another skin.
