There are currently some very good deals on the original Mirage Omnisat speakers, which listed for $250 each and can be had for $100 each at Vanns.com or Amazon.
5 of these would make for a very good, compact, WAF-ready speaker array - you'd still need a sub. I believe these would be a nice step up from the Klipsch. They are smaller, cheaper, they go lower (70Hz) and provide omnidirectional sound for easy integration into any room.
