I'll call tech support to discuss this, but they're not around until Monday, I'm busy on Monday, and I thought 1) it would be useful to share this information and 2) perhaps someone here knows the answer.
I am on the latest slim server version (6.5.1) and, in fact, I "upgraded" from the nightly build this morning. Here's the problem: my Squeeze Box is not stuttering like crazy. Actually, it's random. Sometimes it will go for a few minutes without trouble. Then, it will pause a few times. Irritating. This happens both with Internet radio and with music in my library. And, yes, I have a fast enough computer (G5 mac with 2 gigs of RAM), nothing else was running on the machine, signal strength is 99%, and I've never had this problem before). Ideas, thoughts, solutions? Any adjustments that might need to be done in this version of slim server to guarantee these stoppages? -- highdudgeon Relax.
