I am not sure what flummoxed means but... relax! >From what I can tell the Naim NAP180 has Unbalanced input (and a wierd connector). Thus you can use the Transporter Unbalanced Analog Outputs with attenuation (Selectable -0, -10, -20, -30dB). Start with -30dB and (carefully) test it up to the max Transporter output. If the max volume is not max enough reduce the Transporter Outputs attenuation till is as loud as you may ever want it. Then use the Transporter vol for everyday vol control.
