IF the Transporter and the CD player digital connectors are true 75Ohm (possibly with a pulse-transformer termination), then a 75ohm cable with 75ohm BNC connection would be the best sounding. I dont think other RCA digital cables (so called 'audiophile' brands) will improve the sound (it might sound different though).
