Not knowing exactly the regulator topology of the Transporter, other than it is "based on" Walt Jung's widely acclaimed (and copied) designs, I was just wondering whether Slim Devices (or now Logitech) pays any royalties to Mr. Jung. If not, why not? Are Jung regulators considered public domain, or is the power supply design in the Transporter significantly modified from his original designs? I read recently that Jung does not allow any person or company to use his name without his permission. I'm just curious what is the relationship here between the two parties.
