You could use a tagging app like MusicBrainz Picard to get your tags straight. MusicBrainz provides tagging information from an online database ... I find it quite useful, and you can configure it to 'rename' your files and organize them into the folder structure and filenaming convention that you like.
There's also other apps that are better at guessing tagging information from directory structure and filenames such as Mp3Tag. Mp3Tag also has renaming capabilities. I typically use these two apps together.
