The problem with devices like that, they generally need a big current
draw on the sensed outlet to trigger.  The Transporter may not have a
sufficient current draw to trigger it.

I use the following:

The Transporter will not trigger it.  My home theatre receiver will,
but when the "auto switch" was new, just barely.
