SoftwireEngineer, you raise a good point. We might be getting heated up
discussing things that on some quality amps and speakers just don't make
a difference. I always thought the 'hash', 'noise', 'RF' from an old
AU$5 PC switchmode power supply would destroy the sound of the SB. But,
after an night of repeated experiments I feel it is a "significant"
improvement over the standard PSU. Please note: IMHO and YMMV. I feel
it is worthwhile others trying this and I'm going to try a few other PC
PSUs I have lying around. I haven't tried a ATX PSU and as these are
probably 95% of the PSU around these days, I can't suggest anyone use
one yet.

Like Tom, I also use a TP, so playing with the SB3 is just an
interesting expercise.

BTW: No ABX blind tests due to lack of resources.
