I just want to thank the folks in this forum who have helped me be finally at peace with what I like or believe. Ever since the invention of the CD-ROM I have been bothered by the claims of the effects of CD 'errors.' The appearance of SqueezeBox should put (but didn't) an end to such claims. Through the advices I get from this forum I discovered the Audio Critic and other interesting 'non-mainstream' opinions. I find the article
http://www.bostonaudiosociety.org/bas_speaker/abx_testing2.htm particulary informative. I understand that 'subjectivity' is a sensitive topic in the audiophile world. I'm not trying to start the same hostile debate for the millionth time. I just want to share my positive experience with other wannabe audiophiles who more or less rely on the experience of experts. It just feels good to know that there are 'experts' on either side of the debate. -- Coffee ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Coffee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8198 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29320 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
