I can understand that choice. When I decided to try the Transporter I did not own a DAC. So, I thought instead of using the SB and finding a DAC, I would give the Transporter a try. I also thought about the reverse, but thought that the Transporter might be fine, and then I wouldn't have to shop for a DAC. And, my rack is getting a bit full. Please note that all of my comments re: the SB relate to its analog outputs, not its digital outputs. And, convenience aside, I still love my vinyl, not to mention I have plenty of albums that have not been released in digital format. I suppose sometime I should record them digitally, but that is a whole new round of equipment acquisition. By the way, I see we have similar tastes in speakers.
