I use a pair of Belcanto Ref1000's with the SB3 and now the transporter sounds great, running in to a pair of Zu Druid's. Also tried with Belcanto S300 and Nuforce REF9's (I am a Belcanto, Nuforce, Slim Devices and ZU dealer here in Australia).
All amps are good the REF1000's are exceptional, the Nuforce Ref9's are pretty good too but the RFI interference is really bad on the REF9's.
