Well, I just got my Transporter today and hooked it up. I'm using the analog outputs from the Transporter into my Arcam Alpha 10 integrated amp, from there into an Alpha 10 power amp, and then into a set of Madisound Cygnets.
Not exactly the high end setup that many here have, but it's paid for and sounds good to me. I do wish I'd built a set of Straight 8's before Bottlehead quit selling them, though. Right now, I'm listening to Cassandra Wilson's Traveling Miles in lossless format, and it sounds amazing. Very open, very spatial, very rich. I was a bit concerned when the Transporter arrived because the box was fairly beat up, but the equipment appears to be in perfect shape. I'm thus far quite pleased with my purchase, though I could ill afford it. (Between the time I wrote the above and now, Firefox crashed, and when it was restarted, Firefox had retained my entire reply. Gotta love Firefox.) I'm also now listening to Belle and Sebastian, and the bass sounds much punchier than I remembered it sounding.
