What have you got on the high shelf, the ankle biters or the speakers?

Also thanks for the explanation about the conservatory.  If it is all
glassed-in as you state, then I would think there's no tremendous need
to spend enormous amounts of money on top-notch speakers.  With all
those hard reflective surfaces it will make for a poor acoustic
environment suitable for background listening.

I could see how it could be pleasant out there with some tunes though.
