I've been listening to Tommy Emmanuel's "Endless Road" CD (uh...ripped CD... :-)) a lot recently. Really tremendous stuff, and quite amazing what a guy can do with a solo acoustic guitar...and the percussive stuff he does with the guitar body on the last track on the disc is really fun! Have also been listening to some Leo Kottke...musically not quite as exciting to me as Emmanuel's, but his Sixty-Six Steps CD has some cool acoustic covers of songs like Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion" that are very enjoyable to listen to... -- PhilNYC Sonic Spirits Inc. http://www.sonicspirits.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PhilNYC's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=837 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29827 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
