Maybe some noob (rhymes with boob, I think) will see that thread and
realize that there is more to audiophilia than what the salesmen tell
him.  

I think you take all this stuff way too seriously.  Perhaps instead of
trying to limit what people post in a thread to avoid the possibility
of offending anyone, there should instead be a test of "thickness of
skin" before one is allowed to read the posts.  Easily offended,
bubble-blowing, double-babies will not be allowed access!  If you can't
take the heat of different opinions or different presentations thereof,
stay out of the kitchen...
