I'm not familiar with Audacity.  However, this looks like a time window
impulse response and not a frequency measurement.  I could be wrong,
but, well, that's what it looks like.  I think you need to be in
another window of your program.

Rattling the china cabinet is not the same thing as clipping.  Clipping
is pretty dramatic and happens close to the time that you blow a
speaker.  Still, you can turn down the volume.  As the previous poster
stated, measurement doesn't really depend on loudness.
