Inguz, thanks for the comments. 

I didn't label everything properly I guess, but the right opening is
not a window, but an open archway to the dining room. The green thing
in the front actually IS a fireplace (not TV), and the opening to the
rear is another archway to the entryway.

I was curious if the fact that the ceiling is arched, and the
transition from the wall to ceiling is curved is a good thing or a bad
thing. Otherwise, since the room is so hard and pretty sparse, I think
I'll play around a bit with absorbtion and maybe make my own bass traps
(plants rate extremely high on the WAF...) - maybe a 3AM session to get
the creativity flowing!
