I have the SB3 digital volume on MUTE. But when I disable the Benchmark volume via the switch on the back, I get no sound at all out of speakers. So I have to use the Variable setting on the Benchmark, turn the Benchmark vol. all the way up, then use the vol. control on my Ayre integrated amp. I don't know if this is ideal but I can't seem to disable the Benchmark vol. control without losing all sound. ARe there two volume settings on the SB3? Last night as I was cycling through my set-up on the SB3 again, I noticed another volume option and that one was turned all the way up. Was that the analog volume? The digital volume still says MUTE.
