If you price the materials at home depot 1st you will have an idea of the electricians markup. Some electricians will let you supply the materials and only charge you labor. This could save you $ since many electricians don't keep 10guage romex in stock and will charge you a premium for it.
Realtors are a great source for good ,fair and inexpensive electricians, plumbers etc. If you know some ask them.
