Umm, disagree...?

I listen to a lot of live music (i.e. unamplified, direct from the
instrument) and I find that my SET is genuinely accurate.  It also
measures surprisingly well, FWIW.

I struggle to find transistor amps at any price that I would swap for,
even if I could afford them.  Some old valve amps are 'euphonic', but I
think that's a hang-over from the 70s and earlier - modern valve kit is
a different beast altogether.
