In my case, all the gear is stuffed in a closet, out of sight (and line of sight, so no IR). Once I finish digitizing all my music to FLAC, I won't have much reason to go to the closet to load CDs. Video will still require trips to the machinery until some point in the future (I haven't seen any video distribution systems I'm sold on yet). So for me, a music-collection/navigation-oriented remote with Wi-Fi or RF would be a very nice thing (it could be a universal remote, and I wouldn't be surprised if Logitech comes out with one that mates well with Slim functionality and can control all the other electronic stuff). -- Balthazar_B ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Balthazar_B's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7366 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30243 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
