FF and RW are a little confusing (at least they were to me). Press and hold the FF button for a few seconds. When you release it, the song will begin to FF and continue until you hit PLAY (I think), and then it will go back to normal speed. It's not like other FF buttons that you hold down until you have moved to the point you are seeking and then release. Unless you are listening, you may not be aware the song is fast-forwarding.
