I have heard this. RG6 has tremendous capacity, its bandwidth can be up to 1.5 GHz - suitable for satellite signals. About the only drawback I remember hearing is that it's not very flexible.
I believe the preferred connectors for such an application are by Canare. I'm not sure exactly what model, but it could be this: http://www.canare.com/index.cfm?objectid=69A216BB-3048-7098-AF8323D1F6933858 You'd need their crimper tool. I understand it isn't cheap ($75?) but it pays for itself if you make a lot of connections. BTW RG6 also makes great video and digital audio cable. Edit: whoops, I looked at your link. Looks like the Canare connectors are the recommended ones (RCAP-C). -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30801 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
