Can anyone tell me whether running a lot of applications while streaming music can degrade the sound quality? I often use Photo Shop while playing music and listening with the reference quality AKG K701s. This definitely seems to slow down the computer which uses an Athalon 64 and half a gig of ram (I know that's not much). Surely there must be audio consequences for this misbehaviour?
