OK, I need help with my zhaolu/squeezebox combo.
I have the coax/spdif out of my SB3 fed into the coax in of my DAC. I also want to use the headphone amp in the DAC for headphone listening to other sources (as well as the SB3). If the DAC sees no digital signal it will automatically switch over to the line input and this is what you hear through your headphones. Supply it a digital signal and this takes priority and your hear this instead. Heres my problem - the DAC is picking up a signal even when the SB3 is in standby - ie there is always a signal and therefore the only way I can use its headphone amp for other sources is by disconnecting the spdif cable. Anyone got any ideas? Is there a way to fully power down the SB3 from the remote?
