Erik, it's certainly good enough. I've never had a ripping problem, as the earlier poster did, and when I first found out about EAC I ripped a few CDs with it and compared to Apples Lossless through my headphones (out of the PC soundcard) and heard absolutely no difference. Neither method had any problems with ripping or errors and both made what seemed to me perfect sounding copies of my original CDs. Never listened to a comparison through my Squeezebox, though.
