Huh? A "form of heat, undetectable to the human touch"? Jeeeeezzz.. I'd try some blue-tack if I was worried about resonances. The SB3 is light enough to sit on blue-tack without pushing through. Or put it on a pillow, just to see if you can hear a difference.
