Reading the review, Wes Phillips compares the SB3 plus DAC with the TP. However, I'm guessing his SB3 has the crappy switching wallwart. Perhaps this is partly responsible for the "grain" he's hearing.
I'm not a big fan of Sigma Delta DACs, BTW. I wonder if a TP could be modified to accept a BB PCM1704.
