I went option B. Don't forget *good speakers*, which are, IMHO more important than good amp for the set of amps that are "good enough" (flat frequency response, THD <= .5%, good power cube behaviour). And don't forget to check out http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?ConnectToPowerAmp if you go this way. Personally I am not totally sold on room correction for stereo, although I must admit my HT has it and I do use it. I want to investigate the listening room performance before I start adding correction. Its pretty good as it is I think. -- Eric Carroll Transporter-Bryston 3B SST-Paradigm Reference Studio 60 v.4 SB3-Rotel RB890-B&W Matrix 805 SB3-Pioneer VSX-49TXi-Mirage OM7+C2+R2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Eric Carroll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9293 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32706 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
