MAREO is great if you get your tags 100% correct when you rip (I've never used it, so I'm assuming it's great). However, if you need to re-tag at any stage, then you've got two lots of files to edit (flac + mp3). With flac2mp3, you only ever need worry about the flac files - the mp3 files are updated automatically.
