I've got a similar setup and now I'm confused... I have an SB3 feeding a Bel Canto Dac 1.1 feeding an Arcam integrated, the Bel Canto does not have variable outputs. I do all volume adjustments on the Arcam. In Slimserver I have the Digital output on fixed, I have the volume control set at 63.0 or off since I'm not using the analog outputs on the SB3 at all.. I assume that these are the best settings for sound quality?
