Applying an FIR filter to a signal on it's own does not do any upsampling. The signal coming out of the filter would still be at the original sampling rate - hence zero stuffing to increase the rate without changing the frequency content within the bandwith of the original signal. -- Muggy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Muggy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2258 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32958 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
